This title is part of a series by this publisher that tells the stories of well-known public figures, and who could be more qualified to have her story told than this book’s subject? Here is a thorough and informed biography that tells the story of Elizabeth’s public and private lives. It is geared toward young chapter book readers. Her life story is well told and engaging. I enjoyed the many photographs and illustrations that accompanied the text.

Fascinating
When I read this delightful biography of Queen Elizabeth II, I learned that she was a remarkable woman. She was an excellent student. She kept an eye on her younger sister. She loved horses. During World War 2 she volunteered. The book has wonderful photographs of her in black and white as well as color. At the end of the biography, there is a quiz. There is a table of contents, a glossary and index.
I enjoyed the book as I learned so many things about her. There are many things that in the
United States that we don’t know about Queen Elizabeth or even how royalty “acts.” One gets to see all the responsibilities she has. It’s amazing! It’s a book that I think anyone would enjoy reading.

Queen elizabeth
I am a huge royal follower and really enjoyed this biography of queen elizabeth. I’ve only ventured into following the older royals in the past year or so, and this book definitely introduced new facts to me. I especially enjoyed getting to know about her younger years before she was queen and the early years of her monarchy.
