This book is wonderful and the perfect gift for any royally obsessed fan!

This is the most fun and informative book on the Royals
I loved reading this book. It is so well-organized, with facts about The Cambridges, the Sussexes, Princess Dianna (new and interesting information about her family life as a child and going to school, and her relationship with her sons), Prince Charles (growing up as an heir apparent…), and finally, some questions answered about the Queen and why she often behaves towards her family the way she does. I also appreciate the family tree and all the references. I couldn’t put it down! Great fun and beautifully written.

MUST READ for all fans of the British Royal Family
The authors, Roberta & Rachel – whom also host a royally-focused podcast – are well versed on their subject, and it shows. This cute little book packs a punch as it covers a wide range of topics – and family members. Royal Trivia is a great read for avid royal enthusiasts, casual fans, and everyone in between.

The authors are critical of the British Royal Family and represent an American viewpoint.
This book should be marketed as a “Royal Family study as judged through the eyes of Americans.“ As podcasters, the authors are not objective, respectful or knowledgeable about the history and heritage of the British Royal Family and the commonwealth it represents.
The “Royally Obsessed” podcast (with different podcasters now replaced by the authors) was first created when Meghan Markle married Prince Harry to follow and report on Meghan Markle and her role as a royal. When the Sussexes left the royal family, instead of appropriately terminating this Meghan Markle focused podcast as she is no longer a royal, it was taken over by the authors of this book who kept the extremely American slanted discussion and focus on Markle while using the platform as a thinly veiled platform to criticize the Royal family on everything from baldness to racism (as alleged by Meghan Markle.)
I was incredibly offended when after Prince William condemned racism in defense of footballers after disgusting twitter comments after the Euro Championship Final, the authors of this book tweeted out accusatory comments against William. The tweets have now been deleted but anyone can search Twitter “ Rachel Bowie William” to see responses to the deleted tweets that directly call out misinformation by the authors in the tweets. The responses specifically refer to the authors by name and call out the authors for misinformation and provide correction. These tweets and other podcast criticism of William’s comments demonstrate to me that the author’s do not care about the racism leveled at the footballers or that William’s words could reach and make a difference to millions of football fans who are fighting racism in sport. In addition, the authors hypocritically call out “misinformation” in the media in support of Harry’s Aspen Institute Officer position when they themselves constantly blast biased and unresearched commentary.
In their podcast, the authors unobjectively represent the side of Meghan and Harry positively in any dispute against the British Royal Family and the opinions of the British people. Only the American side and viewpoints are presented about a British institution. There is no commentary about the many disproved accusations Meghan made against the Royals including Meghan’s insinuation that Archie was denied a title because of his race. They criticized the Queen’s statement that “recollections may vary” implying that every accusation made by Meghan was completely true. This is just poor journalism to not even consider any other side to the story and to dismiss the Queen’s right of reply. It’s incredibly disrespectful to a woman who has devoted 70 years of service including during a time period in the mid 20th century when most American women were housewives. The authors have little respect and gratitude for the feminist accomplishments of the women in Royalty prior to Meghan Markle. I feel like the authors represent the very definition of the “ugly American” who can only see the world through America’s opinions and mores and then try to impose these on the rest of the world, judging and shaming.
There was also no commentary about Meghan’s apology for the lies she told to the British courts and blatant slander of her own family. Instead, the authors praised her for her “bravery.” This book is quite frankly, a repugnant attempt to take advantage of and make money off the Royal brand. The Royally Obsessed podcast has a facebook group where the Administrators have called the British Royal Family “toxic”. This indicates to me that the authors are not true fans of the monarchy. Criticism of them is fine and as public figures. But they are personally profiting from publishing a book about an institution they clearly do not respect. Therefore, I feel this negative one star review is completely fair.

Extensive knowledge about British royalty up to later 2021
This book is wonderful and informative and while it is described as trivia, for the royalty buff it is a wealth of knowledge. It covers a long history about their descendants and up to royalty today. Its hard cover is cleanable and would look fine on the coffee table. You ought to love it as much as I do! I certainly recommend it. Dazzle
